HEATHER HOWERTON

Heather Howerton brings the expertise and experience of an over 30-year banking career, having worked the last decade in private mortgage banking. She began her career locally as a mortgage loan processor and worked her way into leadership positions. Heather  has been recognized and honored for her outstanding work in both local and national branch mortgage and private banking.

Howerton, a native Oklahoman, graduated from Oklahoma City University, has achieved Masters status from the Institute of Mortgage Lending, and recently completed an Associate's Degree in Paralegal Studies.

She has served as President of the OKC Mortgage Bankers Association and the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women. Howerton currently serves as a director of the Board of Neighborhood Services Organization (NSO), which celebrated its centennial in 2020. She volunteered her time with the Oklahoma Innocence Project and Bella SPCA.
